Welcoming Dr. Jeffrey Gross: A New Era at Mays Plastic Surgery

We are excited to share an important update with our patients and the Louisville community.

Beginning this August, Dr. Jeffrey Gross will be joining Mays Plastic Surgery and The Spa at MPS as a plastic surgeon.

Adding a new surgeon to the practice is something we approached with great care. Our goal has always been to provide patients with exceptional results, throughtful care, and a level of trust that lasts long after surgery.

After an extensive search, we are proud to welcome Dr. Gross to the MPS team.

A Thoughtful Addition to the Practice

Dr. Chet Mays shared his thoughts on bringing Dr. Gross to the practice:

"We spent a great deal of time looking for the right surgeon to join Mays Plastic Surgery. Our goal was to find someone whose talent, integrity, and attention to detail match the level of care our patients expect and deserve.

Dr. Jeffrey Gross is exactly that person.

He brings exceptional surgical skill, a thoughtful approach to patient care, and a commitment to achieving natural, refined results. Just as importantly, he shares the philosophy that has guided our practice from the beginning - putting patients first and striving for excellence in everything we do.

It is also especially meaningful to welcome a Midwest native back to the Midwest. There is something special about serving the community that helped shape you, and we are honored that Dr. Gross has chosen to bring his expertise and passion for plastic surgery to our patients here at Mays Plastic Surgery and The Spa at MPS."

Dr. Gross will begin seeing patients in the early fall and will help expand the care we provide while continuing the high standards our patients expect.

Meet Dr. Jeffrey Gross

Dr. Gross brings an impressive academic and surgical background to Louisville. He is currently completing a fellowship at Core Aesthetics in Birmingham, Alabama, where he has been refining advanced aesthetic surgical techniques.

His training also includes: 

• Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine 
• Doctor of Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine 
• Graduated summa cum laude from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology

Dr. Gross was also inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, recognizing his outstanding academic achievements.

In addition to his clinical training, he is a published researcher and has presented at national conferences, including meetings hosted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

He is board eligible through the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

A Patient-First Philosophy

Dr. Gross approaches plastic surgery with the belief that every patient deserves personalized care and results that enhance - not change - their natural appearance.

Meet Dr. Gross at Our Spring Gala

Dr. Gross will officially begin seeing patients this August, but the community will have an opportunity to meet him sooner.

He will be attending our upcoming Mays Plastic Surgery Spring Gala on April 16, where guests can learn more about our services, meet our team, and welcome Dr. Gross to Louisville.
